An island with a lighthouse called Pater Noster ("Our Father") is located on the western coast of Sweden, which is washed by the North Sea. Going on a "task", the film lover will be shown 60 films from the festival program during the week. The use of a telephone, laptop and other equipment will be prohibited.
The Gothenburg Film Festival is looking for those who dare to spend a week in social isolation on the remote lighthouse island of Pater Noster, a secluded place at sea, away from family, friends and mobile phone. The sound of the sea and festival films will be the only society.
Among the responsibilities of the expert participant, it is indicated that the viewer must keep a video diary in which he will record his impressions of the watched tapes. If necessary, a member of the team will be on the island.
Two more volunteers will be able to visit two of Sweden's largest venues - Scandinavium Arena and Draken Cinema. In the first, the viewer will be alone in the center of the rink, surrounded by empty stands and screens, in the second - in an empty hall, where each film will be separately presented by its director.
Similar experimental film screenings for one viewer will also take place in the Scandinavium and Draken cinemas.
