New skills in AC: Valhalla disappear if the console is connected to the internet

Last December, a patch was released for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, adding three new skills to the game. However, later players began to notice that abilities disappear and appear in the skill tree.

A Kotaku journalist checked and found out that the whole point is whether the console is connected to the Internet or not. In this case, we are talking about the Xbox Series X. When the device did not have access to the network, then Fight Ready, Arrow Looter, and Assassin Carry was in the skill tree.

With internet access, the game doesn't load new abilities. Some players found themselves spending points on these skills and then finding that there were no skills or points spent. The Kotaku journalist did not have such a problem.

  • Fight Ready - every time a fight starts, the hero starts with one adrenaline slot
  • Arrow Looter - there is a chance to refill the quiver when searching killed archers
  • Assassin Carry - You can immediately carry the body after a successful kill

When asked by a journalist, Ubisoft replied that these skills were introduced into the game with the last patch, but were not ready yet - gamers were not supposed to see them. The company recommends not to disconnect the console from the network to avoid problems with the gameplay of  Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Earlier it became known that transmogrification will be added to the game. Players will be able to diversify the appearance of their equipment without changing statistics. It is not known when the patch will be available.
