Microsoft Edge - Customize Toolbar is further optimized

Microsoft continues to tidy up the settings for the toolbar and changes a few things there for a better overview. The entries for the toolbar are now better highlighted.

The "Show favorites bar" gets a new place right at the top and the "Show button for vertical tabs" becomes "Show tab menu". This is due to the fact that with a right-click on the icon for the vertical tabs you now have a menu with several functions.

Towards the end of the year 2020, we reported that the Edge team was working on making it possible to pin more than 7 favorites to the “New Tab” page. Now you are more likely to go the way that Firefox took.

A selection is added whether you want to see the favorites in one or in two lines. But it doesn't seem to work that way yet. The changes are still in the Microsoft Edge Canary as an A / B test (controlled rollout) and, if they are adopted, will later be adopted in the Dev, Beta and Stable.
