ASUS will launch RTX 3060 Phoenix graphics card, single fan 2.5 slot 17cm length

Since the launch of RTX 30 series graphics cards, most of the manufacturers have introduced giant graphics cards with a thickness of 2.5 or even 3 slots and a length of more than 300mm (we pretend that there is a graphics card on the market that can be bought at the original price).

For many ITX players, this is not good news, because ITX chassis often cannot fit such a large graphics card. Although some manufacturers have produced a dual-slot dual-fan RTX 3070 graphics card before, its length of more than 230mm is not suitable for all ITX cases.

And ASUS recently updated their Phoenix series graphics cards specially designed for ITX small chassis and launched the RTX 3060 Phoenix. This RTX 3060 Phoenix has a thickness of 2.5 slots and is equipped with a single fan to dissipate heat. In terms of size, its length, width, and height are 177mm*128mm*51mm, which is a bit shorter than the 190mm required by many A4 type ITX chassis.

Compared with the previous Dual series graphics cards of the same model, the RTX 3060 Phoenix is thicker and taller, and the thickness of the 2.5 slots also has certain requirements for the ITX chassis. This also makes the RTX 3060 Phoenix the shortest RTX 30 series graphics card currently owned by Asus.

At present, ASUS has only released a non-OC model of RTX 3060 Phoenix. The core frequency of the graphics card is the same as NVIDIA's default 1777MHz. However, ASUS also said that through their own PGU Tweak software, OC mode can be turned on for this graphics card, and the core frequency of the graphics card can reach 1807MHz.

In addition, according to VideoCardz, RTX 3060 Phoenix and RTX 3060 DUAL use the same PCB board, and the backplanes of both are the same, which means that both have the same 3 DP ports and 1 HDMI 2.1 port. , The power supply is the same as the single 8P.

We don't know the price of this graphics card at the moment, but you and I know one thing, that is, it can be bought, and the price must be much higher than the official MSRP.
