AdDuplex: Windows 10 20H2 increases by 50% in one month | March 2021

Support for Windows 10 1909 for consumers will be discontinued after the patch day in May. Microsoft has also increased the number of updates significantly in order to bring users to Windows 10 2004 and then to 20H2.

You can see that in the statistics from AdDuplex this month. The share of Windows 10 20H2 increased from 20 to 29.9%. Windows 10 2004 also increased by 0.3%. But you can file that with fluctuations in the statistics.

In contrast, the share of Windows 10 1909 has fallen by 8.4 to only 18.4% compared to the previous month. The older versions lost around 2% of the total. Microsoft will certainly be happy.

As always shortly before the release of a new Windows 10 version, the number of insiders has increased again. But after the release of Windows 10 21H1, that will go back to the typical 0.3% as usual.
