New ASUS VivoBook S laptops feature AMD chip and NanoEdge display


ASUS today announced the VivoBook S14 (M433) and VivoBook S15 (M533) laptops for everyday computing and entertainment. The new products are based on AMD Ryzen 5000 U-series processors.

Laptops are equipped with a NanoEdge display in sizes of 14 and 15.6 inches, respectively. In the first case, the screen occupies 85% of the lid area, in the second - 86%. The resolution is the same - 1920 × 1080 pixels or Full HD.

The laptops are available in Resolute Red, Gaia Green, Dreamy White and Indie Black, with an additional bright yellow outline of the Enter key.

The volume of DDR4 RAM reaches 16 GB, the capacity of the M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD is 1 TB. There are Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, 720p webcam, Harman / Kardon audio system, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A interfaces, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A and HDMI 1.4.

The list of options includes a touchscreen digital unit NumberPad 2.0, built into the touchpad, and a fingerprint scanner for quick authorization in the system. The laptops are running the Windows 10 Home operating system. There is no information about the estimated price at the moment.
