Google Photos developers optimized interface for Android tablets

In the middle of last year, Google released a major update to the Google Photos mobile app. It brought several new features and an updated interface to Android smartphones. Now the optimized Google Photos interface is available on Android tablets.

The source notes that the new Google Photos user interface has received several changes that make it easier to interact with the service on devices with a large screen. Noteworthy is the change in the position of the navigation bar, which has been moved to the side area. Above it is a search bar, with which you can quickly find the files you need.

We've also added icons to quickly navigate to data stored in the device's memory, editing tools, the recycle bin, etc. There are other changes that should make working with Google Photos on tablets more convenient. These changes are expected because for a long time on Android tablets the application looked the same as on smartphones, that is, it did not take advantage of the large screen.

According to reports, UI optimization for Android tablets appeared in Google Photos 5.25. The source notes that this version of the app has not yet become publicly available. In addition, the Google Photos app for iOS hasn't been updated yet - this will probably happen at a later date.
