 On February 15, the Union Telecom Ministry also directed to formulate a special strategy to curb fraudulent activities linked to the use of telecommunications resources, including blocking the operation of telecom services due to growing concerns in Jamtara and Mewat areas.  Under which a nodal agency called Digital Intelligence Unit (DIU) has been created and Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) system has also been developed.

 The Department of Telecommunications has launched a portal from the domain  A database of all mobile numbers operating across the country is uploaded in this portal.  This portal is an attempt to curb spam and fraud.  If you think someone else is using a mobile number in your name, you can complain about this through this website.  Let us know how to use this website.

 1) First of all, open in your mobile phone browser or on laptop or computer.

 2) Then enter your 10 digit mobile number.  Now an OTP will come to your number.  Enter and validate that OTP.

 3) After validating the OTP, you will get a list of all the numbers that are working in your name.  From there, you can report any number at your convenience.

 4) The government will then check the numbers running on your number that you have complained about.
