Microsoft has released a new version of the Windows Terminal for the stable (1.7.1901.0) and preview (1.8.1092.0), which fixes compatibility problems with the Scoop package manager. Microsoft will not make this version available in the Microsoft Store. An update works via the msixbundle on GitHub.
The only change in this version fixes a crash that occurred in stable version 1.7 and preview version 1.8 when Terminal was run outside of its application package. If you don't have a problem with that, you don't need to install the new version.
