Windows 10 21H2, No Build Released In This Week, Here Is The Update From Microsoft

Microsoft is announcing that no new builds of Windows 10 21H2 will be released this week. The current "candidate" is not operational for deployment even on the Dev channel.

The giant explains

“This week, the build for the Dev channel was not ready for deployment. We are canceling the post for this week. We look forward to seeing you next week."

The Windows Insider Program Dev Channel features previews of Windows 10 21H2, the next feature update for Windows 10. It's slated for release next fall.

Windows 10 21H1 and 21H2

In the meantime, Redmond will offer Windows 10 21H1, a less substantial edition. Its deployment will take the form of a cumulative update published through the Windows Update service.

About this Microsoft explained

“Based on the feedback and our learnings over the past year of working remotely, version 21H1 will be delivered using servicing technology (like that used for the monthly update process and how 20H2 has been delivered). Windows 10, version 21H1 will have an extended feature set that improves security, remote access, and quality. The features we are releasing in this update focus on core experiences […] We have therefore optimized this release to meet the most pressing needs of our customers. "

According to the traditional calendar, 21H1 is expected in the spring (April or May) and 21H2 in the fall.
