[Video] Blogger hacked camera in The Last of Us Part II and discovered many curious secrets

Some bloggers entertain their audience by hacking the camera in games and looking for all kinds of secrets. Previously, this method was explored in Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. And now interesting features and secrets of The Last of Us Part II have been revealed in a similar way. This was done by the author of the YouTube channel Speclizer in his latest video.

Attention: further in the material there are spoilers for the plot of TLoU II.

The video first shows the controversial Joel murder scene that became the subject of heated debate last year. It turns out that hitting the head of the protagonist of the first The Last of Us with a golf club provoked a fountain of blood, but this cannot be seen in the game.

Speclizer also discovered that the character models in the project had fingerprints. Apparently, Naughty Dog took care of even such a small detail when creating the characters. In addition, the blogger found an amusing secret in a pool of muddy water, which is located on the territory of a house in Seattle. If you look inside it, you can find a flock of tadpoles. Without hacking the camera, you will not be able to see them.

The developers also implemented a full-fledged model of Tommy in the scene where he fires at Abby with a sniper rifle. Joel's brother will even react to hits on him, but he will not be able to kill him.

The Last of Us Part II was released on June 19, 2020, exclusively on PS4.
