SpaceEye - Live satellite images as wallpaper for Windows or Mac

Do you like satellite images of the earth? Maybe as a desktop background (wallpaper)? Then maybe SpaceEye could be something for you. Michael Galliers has made the "app" available on GitHub since the end of August 2020.

With the little tool you can currently choose between 12 different satellite views and he hopes that there will be more soon. If it is installed as an app or program, you can choose your favorites. The image is then downloaded and updated every 10 minutes to 1 hour.

In the new version 1.21, you can see how often the background image is updated with a mouse-over on the small green dot. Via the three dots above you can also access the simple menu (autostart and auto-update). You can also quit SpaceEye there. If you want to have your normal background image again, right-click on the desktop => Customize and select your image again.

SpaceEye can be downloaded as an app for the Mac. For Windows 10, the app is only available in the USA and Canada. But you can use the * .appx as usual via the detour: store.rg-adguard.net and from left to right ProductId | 9nf3wz8tt6mn | RP | Press tick to be downloaded. Then rename it and install it with a double click. Currently, it is version 1.1.4.

Or there is also a setup file for both variants. I simply unzipped it with 7zip and started it like that.
