OxygenOS: Improvement update for the OnePlus 9 (Pro) available

Although the OnePlus 9 (Pro) has only been available for a few days, the developers have released an extensive update for the OxygenOS mobile operating system. With the update, users benefit from improvements to the camera and the latest security patch.

The update has version number 11.2.2.2 and brings the security patch published by Google in March to the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. The update fixes many minor issues, so WhatsApp video calls and the vibration function in games now work better. According to MSPoweruser, a bug has also been fixed that prevented the navigation bar of split-screen apps from being displayed in the dark theme in dark mode. In addition, the system stability itself has been improved.

Camera software improvements

In addition to the bug fixes, the software update brings many improvements in connection with the smartphone's camera. The sharpness, the image noise and the white balance of the main camera have been revised. The white balance of the front camera has also been corrected. In addition, the zoom performance has been improved. Optimizations have also been made to the stability of the camera so that less shaky video recordings are produced.

OxygenOS update is being delivered in several waves

As usual, the OxygenOS update will be distributed in waves again this time. This means that the update is not yet available to all users. Owners of the OnePlus 9 who do not see the update will probably have to wait a few more days. The update may be displayed when checking for updates through the settings.
