Microsoft Edge: Customize toolbar has been updated, tidied up and now comes with icons

In the Microsoft Edge settings, you can adjust the buttons for the toolbar under Appearance. The current Canary has now cleaned up and the view has been improved.

So you have once integrated the button “start page” (the little house) in the selection and a button to set the URL. This setting can now be found under "Start, Start Page and New Tabs" and is also directed there. The activation or deactivation of the vertical tabs has also been integrated into the "Customize toolbar" selection. Saves a little space compared to the previous layout.

All buttons have now been assigned the icons that can be seen at the top of the toolbar. I see it as an advantage. Because you have already got used to the icons in the toolbar and can now better assign them in the settings.

At the moment it is still an A / B test (controlled rollout). Because I only have the new view in a Canary version 91.0.849.0. But take a look. Maybe it has already been activated for you. If these changes are adopted, they will also be released in the stable version in May.
