Fractal Design announces its new Ion Gold power supplies that is offering an 80 Plus Gold certification and no less than a 7-year warranty.
Ion Gold is a power supply designed for users who want a good balance between price and performance. In this case, we speak of a power supply ranging between 550 W and 850 W.

The sources are totally modular, so we can only use the cables that are necessary, improving all space management within the PC case. Measuring 150mm deep, the font should easily fit into any traditional PC case.
The new Fractal fonts do not stand out mainly for their design, which is rather understated in a completely black piece. RGB lighting is conspicuous by its absence in the Ion Gold line. The fan is 140mm silent operation which belongs to the Dynamic series.
As in other modern power supplies, the fan can spin faster or slower depending on the workload and internal temperature. This helps to have a quieter PC most of the time.
