Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold: 8.01 ″ QHD + folding smartphone for 1,300 euros


The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is the new ship terminal company logo, a foldable smartphone (promises a lifespan of 1 million bent) that offers a panel AMOLED of 8.01 inches with a resolution Quad HD + of 2480 x 1860 pixels @ 60 Hz with a typical contrast of 4,300,000: 1 and a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and 6.52 inches "Full HD +" @ 90 Hz with a Touch Sampling Rate of 180 Hz when folded.

We say "Full HD +", because the actual resolution is 2520 x 840 pixels with a maximum brightness of 900 nits. All seasoned with a four-speaker system signed by Harman Kardon.

In terms of hardware, no surprises, the Snapdragon 888 SoC is accompanied by 12GB / 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 256GB / 512GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage, all powered by a 5020 mAh capacity battery with 67W fast charging. (from 0 to 100% in 37 minutes).

In the photographic section, the triple rear camera with the main sensor Samsung ISOCELL HM2 of 108 megapixels, ultra wide angle of 13 megapixels and 8 MP telephoto lens with optical zoom x3 increases that also acts as a macro sensor thanks to its liquid lens system. The Surge C1 processor, designed in-house, will be in charge of processing the image signal.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold goes on sale in China at a price that is not expensive for the type of mobile it is, since the most basic model goes on sale for 1,300 euros (12GB / 256GB), going through 1,425 euros ( 12GB / 512GB) and 1,685 euros for the top-of-the-range model (16GB / 512GB) with a ceramic body.
