Windows 10 Microsoft cleans up the context menu of the taskbar

So far, you are used to being able to quickly change the Windows 10 on-screen keyboard, Windows Ink or the search by right-clicking in the taskbar. Now Microsoft has cleaned up the context menu and if it stays that way, it will be adopted in Windows 10 21H2.

The settings have now been integrated under Personalization => Taskbar. Why you showed the Cortana button and left contacts in the context menu is now a question in itself. After all, the contacts were declared obsolete some time ago.

But maybe Microsoft will change that and wait for feedback for the latest changes. No longer present in the context:

  • Search
  • Show Windows Ink Workspace (button)
  • Show on-screen keyboard (button)

There are some changes that Microsoft has made in the current Windows 10 21337.
