The Intel Comet Lake-S Refresh will offer a performance improvement of up to 2.5%

At the end of the month, along with the Rocket Lake-S processors, the Intel Comet Lake-S Refresh will arrive, basically a rehash of the Intel Core i3 and Pentium Gold processors that is limited to a name change and an increase in Base frequencies. / Turbo 100 MHz, that is why an Intel Core i3-10325 reaches a Base / Turbo frequency of 3.90 / 4.70 GHz compared to the 3.80 / 4.60 GHz of the Intel Core i3-10320. The second and last Core i3 in this family is the Core i3-10105  @ 3.70 / 4.20 GHz.

This 100 MHz boost enables the new Intel Core i3-10325 to be 1.4 percent faster than its predecessor in the Cinebench R23 single-core test, 2.5% faster in the multi-core test, and just 1, 3% faster in the benchmark 3DMark Time Spy Extreme to emulate its performance in games, so when push comes to shove there will be no appreciable performance improvement between a Comet Lake-S processor and a Comet Lake-S Refresh, so the price will be the only major differentiator between them.
