Sony is giving away PlayStation games: All PS4 owners can look forward to these games

Thanks to the "Play at Home" campaign, PlayStation gamers have been receiving some free content since the beginning of March. In the next few days and weeks, a number of free games will be added - including an absolute top hit of the PS4 era. Particularly practical: a PlayStation Plus subscription is not required for the free games.

Sony started a new "Play at Home" initiative at the beginning of March, in which PlayStation games are given away to users. With this, the manufacturer wants to ease the time in the corona lockdown. The campaign started on March 2nd and will continue until June 2021. Sony started with four PlayStation games, including the PlayStation hit "Ratchet & Clank", which made waves on PS4 2016.

You don't need a PlayStation Plus account to take part in the promotion. You can easily search for "Ratchet & Clank" on PSN from the start of the promotion and start the download. The game is available for download until the beginning of April, after which the offer changes.

As the manufacturer has now announced, a number of other free games will be added over the next few months:

From March 25th:

The titles are available for free until April 23rd.

From April 19th:

This title is available until May 15th.

In addition, Sony plans to expand trial access to the anime streaming site Wakanim for new customers from March 25, 2021. This subscription service, which focuses on anime, includes programs such as My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan, and Fruits Basket. The extended trial offer starts on March 26th and is available until April 23rd.

The "Play at Home" event, however, is not new. Sony launched such a campaign last April. Back then there were two games, Knack and Journey, that were supposed to sweeten the lockdown for PlayStation players.

This means that the campaign delivers twice the number of free games this year. Check this article regularly to keep up to date.
