Following the announcement of the Radeon RX 6700 XT, Gigabyte is positioning itself with the announcement of two customized versions. The manufacturer presents the Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming OC, Radeon RX 6700 XT EAGLE.
These two “custom” solutions are complemented by a more classic model, a reference Radeon RX 6700 XT manufactured by AMD.

The Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming OC features an in-house cooling system, the WindForce 3X. At first glance, it seems identical to the one present on the current Radeon RX 6800 Gaming OC. Some modifications are possible on the backplate to adapt to a new PCB. Heat dissipation is provided by three sets of aluminum fins while five 6mm thick copper heat pipes are in direct contact with the GPU. The system also dissipates heat from VRMs and memory chips. Power is supplied by two PCIe 8 bet 6 pin connectors. Display outputs include two HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors.

Radeon RX 6700 XT EAGLE
The Radeon RX 6700 XT EAGLE is intended to be more compact. It occupies two expansion slots thanks to a thinner radiator. We find three sets of aluminum fin and three 8mm thick copper heat pipes which are also in direct contact with the GPU. The beautiful uses the same power supply scheme as its big sister and offers the same rear connection.
Gigabyte like other manufacturers does not mention any frequency. The Gaming OC edition should logically be the most efficient. Marketing is scheduled for March 18.
