AMD has just formalized the Radeon RX 6700 XT. The beautiful complete range of the Radeon RX 60000 series with the ambition to tackle not Full HD but 1440p.
The presentations lasted about twenty minutes. After repositioning the gaming market in the face of some key figures, AMD unveiled its latest creation in gamer graphics card, the Radeon RX 6700 XT. The beautiful will be available in a personalized version from partners and in a "made in AMD" version.
Radeon RX 6700 XT, characteristics and performance
It embeds a graphics processor equipped with 40 calculation units all powered at a maximum frequency (game) of 2424 MHz. Its equipment includes 12 GB of GDDR6 and its thermal envelope is at 230 Watts. We find the big house technologies; Smart Access Memory and Ray Tracing support.
The AMD card takes up the design code of the RX 6000 series with a casing combining black, chrome or steel gray. Its cooling system includes two individually designed axial fans. They are able to come to a complete standstill in the event of a low workload.
Their job is to propel the air through fine fins, all accompanied by heat pipes in order to accelerate heat transfer and distribute it better.
All of its mechanics take place on a 10-layer PCB with the presence of 2 oz of copper.

The card is equipped with three DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs and an HDMI and its power supply require two 8 and 6 pin PCIe connectors.

According to AMD, the performance of this solution exceeds the prowess of a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and even only of a GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB in 1440p Full Option.

Finally, it also meets the needs of players of competitive games such as Counter-strike Global Offensive, Hyper Scape, League Of Legends or even Overwatch, Rainbow Six Seige and Valorant. The framerates in 1440p are between 180 and 452 frames per second depending on the title.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB will be available from March 18 at a suggested retail price of $ 479.
