OnePlus Watch officially launched

We had reported about the leak of specification of OnePlus Smartwatch earlier. However, it is officially launched now, and let's see what's in it.

In addition to the two new smartphones, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, the first of their own smartwatch was also officially presented yesterday. This is the OnePlus Watch. This offers a 1.39 inch round AMOLED display (46mm) with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, which is protected by sapphire glass.

Google's Wear OS is not used. OnePlus relies on its own OS here. The OnePlus Watch should support more than 110 activities, some of which should also be recognized automatically. Various sensors also measure your sleep activity, your pulse or the oxygen content in your blood. According to OnePlus, the battery should be able to last up to 14 days (depending on usage). In addition to Bluetooth 5 LE, there is also an IP68 certification and 4 GB of storage, whereby 2 GB can be used for your music. The watch can also display messages and calls.

In terms of design, the OnePlus Watch wants to be more of a classic watch, but it offers numerous functions of a fitness tracker. At the moment only the normal OnePlus Watch Classic has been announced for Germany. This will cost 159 euros. This should be available from April 26th. You can find more information on the product page for the OnePlus Watch.
