Microsoft has started to wield the Bethesda game stick, and moves frequently within a week after the acquisition

Since it passed the regulatory approvals of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the European Commission, Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax, Bethesda's parent company, is almost complete. Microsoft did not relax and started a series of work non-stop.

First of all, 20 of Bethesda's games have entered Xbox Game Pass, 16 of which have joined the console, PC, and cloud gaming platforms. Overnight, Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass has many more classic works. But this is just the beginning, and then soon Microsoft's related person in charge Phil Spencer revealed that in the future, some of Bethesda's games will become Microsoft's platform exclusive works, this move is to enhance the competitiveness of Xbox Game Pass.

Since Bethesda has a lot of IP with great influence, although Phil Spencer did not further explain which works are involved, it will certainly make some players tilt towards the Microsoft platform. Microsoft spent more than $7.5 billion for this acquisition, which is believed to be one of the most important reasons.

Of course, this is not over yet. Microsoft announced that the FPS Boost of Xbox Series X/S will support five games under Bethesda, including Fallout 4. The FPS Boost function introduced by Microsoft on the Xbox Series X/S can increase the frame rate of some old games running at 30FPS to 60FPS. The purpose is to improve the frame rate of some old games through the powerful functions of the next-generation game consoles.

This series of rapid operations took about a week before and after. Although Microsoft and Bethesda had already had a related cooperation before this time, we can still see how much Microsoft attaches to Bethesda. It is very likely. See it as an important bargaining chip against Sony in the game field in the future.
