iPhone 13 may have larger batteries and screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz on Pro models

Apple's new line of smartphones is expected to have four models, all with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X60 modems, ensuring support for 5G networks. The screens will be bigger with a smaller notch for the front camera.

In October of last year, Apple revealed the new iPhone 12 to the world but, as usual, rumors are circulating about the successors and their next line of smartphones from the Apple brand. Now the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo makes his predictions regarding the iPhone 13 known.

In a note to the international press, Ming-Chi Kuo begins by indicating that, similarly to what happened last year, the family of new smartphones will consist of four models. Both Pro versions may have screens with refresh rates of 120 Hz.

There is also "more screen" since all models of the new line will have a notch (space at the top of the screen for the camera and sensors) with smaller dimensions than usual. Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Apple will adopt screens with a punch hole (a hole only for the camera lens) in 2022. In 2023, the Cupertino giant will be able to bet on the creation of screens without any type of notch or punch hole, with the front camera located below the display, advances the 9to5Mac website.

Inside, the new iPhone 13 should use Qualcomm's Snapdragon X60 modems, ensuring support for 5G networks. In addition, according to the MacRumors website, smartphones will have batteries with larger dimensions than the previous generation, as well as support for Lightning technology.

The analyst's predictions also indicate that there is a possibility for Apple to launch a new iPhone SE in 2022. The model will have a similar design to the smartphone launched last year but will include a faster processor, as well as support for 5G.

In addition to the iPhone 13, which could be unveiled this year, Ming-Chi Kuo also revealed that Apple is considering launching its first foldable smartphone in 2023 . For now, it remains to be seen with which manufacturer Apple will work to produce the foldable screens for its new iPhone, but it is rumored that Samsung and LG will be part of a partnership.

An alternative for the "younger" tastes.
