EVGA Z370, motherboards are updated to support Resizable BAR

EVGA relies on Resizable BAR support as an essential feature of its current motherboards, including those that have been around for a long time. The manufacturer is adding this support with a new BIOS released exclusively for Z370 motherboards.

The EVGA Z370 series of motherboards were released in the year 2017, but that doesn't stop them from having Resizable BAR support, which is a recently discovered feature that helps speed up 3D graphics. We are talking about an improvement in graphic performance between 5 and 10% depending on the game, which is not bad at all.

Updates for each model Z370 from EVGA are now available to download and install.

Although the Resizable BAR is a beneficial feature for gamers, not all manufacturers are in the business of updating their older motherboards to support it, so this gesture from EVGA is appreciated.

The feature is similar to what Smart Access Memory offers, only for the Intel platform. What this function does is that it allows the CPU to access the entire buffer memory of a graphics card. This speeds up overall graphics processing by accessing all of the video memory and not segments of it.

Users with an EVGA Z370 motherboard can download BIOS updates for their particular model. Remember that you must download and install the BIOS for your exact motherboard model.

Unfortunately, EVGA is not planning to release any updates to add Resizable BAR for its Z270 series of motherboards. We will keep you informed.
