Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2021 provides assistance for housing to scheduled caste people of the rural and urban areas. Under this scheme financial assistance of Rs. 43,500 is given for housing. This scheme specifically launched for people of the weaker economic sections who need shelter. People resident of Gujarat and qualifies other eligibility norms can apply to the scheme. Eligibility Criteria for Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana

  • Resident Of Gujarat
  • Scheduled Caste Candidate Eligible
  • Bpl Holder Are Given Priority In Urban
  • Beneficiary Should Belong To Bpl For Rural
  • The Annual Income Of The Beneficiary Should Not Exceed Rs. 24,000
  • The Beneficiary Should Own And Possess A Plot Or Temporary Dwelling Erected With Mud And Soil
  • The Plot Area Should Be Minimum 25 Sq. Meters
  • Priority To Be Given For Assistance To Those With Score 0 To 16 In Bpl
  • List And Thereafter, Persons With 17 To 20 Score Can Be Considered

For rural areas

  • In the case of beneficiaries under Indira Awas Yojana and they are fulfilling other conditions of Dr. Ambedkar housing scheme, there is a provision to pay the assistance under this scheme.
  • Income Limit Rs. 47,000 / -

For urban areas

  • The beneficiary should be either widow, handicapped, deserted woman, laborer; if there is any BPL, he should be given priority.
  • The beneficiary should be of Scheduled Caste.
  • The annual income of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs.68,000/-.
  • The beneficiary should own and possess a plot or temporary dwelling erected with mud and soil.
  • The plot area should be minimum of 25 sq.meters.
  • The beneficiary who does not include the beneficiary of the Indira Awas Yojana but fulfills the other conditions of the beneficiary, Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana, the beneficiary can be given benefit.
  • The beneficiary who is not covered under the Indira Awas Yojana, but beneficiaries who fulfill other conditions of the beneficiary Dr. Ambedkar housing scheme, those who are widowed, working, handicapped, or extremely backward, can be given benefit.

Pattern of Assistance

  • Help. Rs. 45,000 / - for the urban area, Rs. 5000 / - for the beneficiary's work - Rs. 50,000 / - for flowering.
  • The standard of assistance for rural area is Rs. 70,000 /

Terms and Conditions

The beneficiary should not have availed benefits under any other housing scheme implemented by the Government by the beneficiary or other family members of the beneficiary.

The complete construction of the house will not be completed with the help received under Dr. Ambedkar Awas Yojana 2021, so the construction of the building will have to be completed by adding the remaining amount to the beneficiary himself.
