AMD Adrenalin 21.3.1 available with new DOOM Eternal support

The AMD Radeon Adrenalin 21.3.1 beta graphics drivers are here welcoming DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part Two video game which is available with new DOOM Eternal support

The second expansion of DOOM Eternal is now available and the new drivers from AMD give it a good optimization. In addition, they bring official support for the recent RX 6700 XT graphics cards.

These Adrenalin 21.3.1 beta drivers seem to be important because of the support of the RX 6700 XT and the new DOOM, but also because it brings a number of new features, such as the updated Radeon Boost performance enhancement for DirectX 12 and Variable Rate Shading.

Like Radeon Boost, Radeon Anti-Lag also receives support for those games that use the DirectX 12 API. Another feature that also receives an improvement is in Radeon Software, which now makes use of an internal stress test in the section of performance tuning.

The Vulkan API also gets some pampering with support for new extensions, including VK_KHR_synchronization, VK_EXT_4444_formats, VK_EXT_conditional_rendering, and VK_KHR_sampler_ycbcr_conversion.

The drivers are also fixing various issues that were found in previous drivers, such as high CPU utilization in idle mode or the issue that existed with the Oculus VR glasses when connected with a GCN GPU. The problems with Ray Tracing in Modern Warfare on the RX 6000 graphics cards are also resolved, in addition to the lighting failures present on the RX 6800 with the Star Citizen.

You can download the drivers from this link and also see the full list of changes.
