The PC version of Hitman 3 finally has a free transfer of levels from previous parts

The independent Danish studio IO Interactive in its official microblog announced the appearance in the PC version of social stealth-action Hitman 3 the promised possibility of free transfer of levels from Hitman and  Hitman 2.

Recall that the problem was discovered even before the release: Hitman 2 in the Epic Games Store is not yet for sale, in connection with which it was assumed that the owners of the game on Steam would have to buy its content again (albeit with a large discount).

Soon after that announcement, the developers promised to look into the situation. The solution, which will not require gamers to re-purchase content, was expected until the end of February, and IO Interactive coped with its task.

“We're thrilled to share that Hitman 3 PC users can now import locations from Hitman and Hitman 2 at no additional cost,” IO Interactive said.

The transfer of content to Hitman 3 is carried out on a special page on the official IO Interactive website. The studio advises doing this through a browser since the system is not yet optimized for mobile devices.

Hitman 3 was released on January 20 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch (in the cloud) and Google Stadia. Earlier it was reported that the game will receive additions, but not new levels.

In addition to supporting Hitman 3, IO Interactive is currently also on its own James Bond adventure. Development is still at an early stage, but recently new details of an ambitious project have appeared on the Web.
