Aspyr Media has announced that a re-release of the Star Wars shooter Star Wars: Republic Commando will be released on April 6. The release will take place on PS4, PS5 for Backward Compatibility, and Nintendo Switch.
According to the studio, it did not change the main elements of the title but tried to make it so that modern players feel comfortable. Aspyr Media has promised to improve the controls and make it easy to play on consoles.

The story of Star Wars: Republic Commando tells about a special squad of clone commandos called "Delta". However, the story is not the main element of the shooter. The game was loved precisely for its interesting gameplay and mechanics.
