GPU-Z is updated and adds support for the Radeon RX 6600 and 6700

The TechPowerUp team already has their new GPU-Z update ready, the main novelty of which is the support of the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6600. It is possible that the launch of the RX 6600 will not take long, will it arrive in April?

AMD would have the latest RX 6000 ready, which will be positioned in the mid-range and will come with 12 GB GDDR6 (XT), 6 GB GDDR6, but we know practically nothing about the RX 6600. This is the main novelty and the information that comes is a bit diffuse, so we must inform you with caution. At the moment, GPU-Z already supports them in a preliminary way, so in a few weeks, we will know about them.

Radeon RX 6600 and RX 6700 receive support on GPU-Z

The GPU-Z update has not only focused on the upcoming RX 6700 or RX 6600, but other functions or supports have been added, such as the Quadro, AMD Cezanne, or the integrated graphics of Intel Comet Lake.

What do we know about these graphics cards? Starting with the first, we would have an RX 6600 XT version with 12 GB GDDR6, as ASRock registered in the EEC at the beginning of the month. Your GPU would be the Navi 22 and we would have a 192-bit memory bus. We don't know anything about frequencies, cores, or departure dates.

On the other hand, the RX 6700 series, of which 3 things must be pointed out:

  • There will be 2 RX 6700 XT with different TGP: 189 W and 230 W.
  • The RX 6700 will come with 8GB GDDR6, while the XT will come with 12GB GDDR6.
  • In XT graphics cards we will see boost frequencies of up to 2600 MHz and they would equip 2560 cores (rumor).

According to the source, despite the fact that they all carry Navi 22, there will be differences:

  • RX 6700 XT -> Navi 22 XT .
  • RX 6700 -> Navi 22 XL .
  • RX 6600 -> Navi 22?

Is the GPU-Z upgrade that important? Yes, because they rarely go wrong or support "imaginary" GPUs.
