Gigabyte Announces Its Liquid Aorus WaterForce X Series With An LCD Screen In The Water Block

Gigabyte Technology announced the launch of a new water cooling system, the Aorus WaterForce X Series, available in three sizes 240/280/360 mm with 2x / 2x / 3x 120/140/120 mm fans respectively. For the rest, except for the price, there is no difference between all these liquids, which offer tubes with a diameter of 7.8 mm (vs 5.1mm) to increase the flow of the coolant by 37 percent.

Regarding the fans, which include ARGB lighting, the 120mm fans rotate between 700 and 2500 RPM generating an airflow of 16.92 ~ 60.07 CFM with a static pressure of 0.25 ~ 3.14 mmH2O and a loudness of 16.12 ~ 37.6 dBA with a generous life of no less than 73,500 hours of use thanks to the fact that the bearings make use of a lubricant based on graphene, which also helps to reduce the loudness in a 15 percent. 140mm fans spin up to 2300 RPM with 89.18 CFM, 4.62 mmH2O, and a loudness of 44.4 dBA.

According to the company, it's Aorus WaterForce X 240 (240mm) is capable of smoothly cooling an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with its 16 cores @ 4.60 GHz in Cinebench R23. Of course, they did not say the temperature, so it is a detail without relevance.

Finally, the Aorus WaterForce X Series liquids include a circular color screen with a size of 60 x 60 mm just above the block that cools the CPU, being the strangest of all that it integrates a MicroSD slot to be able to add videos, images or Gif.

The liquid ones are compatible with Intel LGA20XX, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115X, LGA1366 and AMD AM4, TR4 and sTRX4 processors, they have a 3-year warranty, and do not expect to know their availability or prices.
