Disney Plus presents the series and films of its Star platform, know its catalog

Star will be a streaming platform within the Disney Plus app and will have all the adult content from Fox. Like Deadpool and Duro de Matar.

When Disney Plus revealed the development of its new Star streaming platform, we were all confused as to whether that would represent an additional expense to our wallet.

The problem was obvious: after buying Fox, Mickey Mouse had too much content, like the Die Hard saga, that did not seem appropriate to integrate with children's content.

Star is the solution they created and now they have finally explained how everything will work. And not only that, they revealed their full launch catalog.

How Star will integrate with Disney Plus

Through its official press site for Europe, the company revealed all the details around this new platform. Which, fortunately, will be directly integrated into the app that all its subscribers already have installed.

Similar to what happens with the National Geographic section, a new access section will open where you can see the complete Star catalog. The image illustrates it perfectly:

Star will be available from February 23, 2021 to all Disney Plus users in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland plus Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Latin America will have to be patient, but the pure launch catalog, not to mention that there will be original productions, would make it worth the wait.

To that, we need to add more than 800 films that are still part of the Fox catalog, such as Deadpool, the Duro de Matar saga, The Shape of Water, The Favorite and many more. This official video gives us a clear idea:

The truth is that with this injection of content, a future increase in the subscription cost would also be more than justified.
