At the 2021 ROG new product launch conference, a new generation of ROG Gun God 5 series of gaming notebooks was officially released.
ROG Gun God 5 and Gun God 5Plus have a trendy design, more immersive special effects and professional e-sports performance configuration, and specially optimized design details for enthusiast gamers.
The main difference between ROG Gun God 5 and ROG Gun God 5 Plus is the screen. The former is a 15.6-inch 300Hz refresh rate gaming screen and the latter is a 17.3-inch 360Hz gaming screen. In addition, ROG Gunshen 5 Plus has an independent numeric keypad. The former is a touchpad and a keypad that can switch modes.
ROG Gun God 5 series gaming notebooks use a brand-new mold design, and the body size is 7% smaller than the upper-end cover, making it more compact.
The A-side is upgraded to a metal matte material with nano-coating. The surface has a mirror dot pattern with ROG lettering. It is designed with ROG LOGO faith lights and supports RGB adjustment. With the upgraded version of the surrounding suspension light strip, it creates a beautiful suspension effect.
The C surface uses a translucent process, and a replaceable personality badge is designed on the hinge. It comes with three styles of armor gray, star silver, and war soul black, which players can customize.

It is worth mentioning that the creative KeyStone design is retained on the right side of the C side and upgraded to the second-generation KeyStone II. After inserting it, you can unlock the personalized settings, including starting the specified game or application and switching to the storm. Press mode, quickly access ROG ID associated cloud files, and display encrypted hidden partitions, associate multiple Keystone IIs, and share access permissions.

In terms of configuration, the ROG Gun God 5 series gaming notebook is equipped with an overclockable AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, using the latest Zen3 architecture, with 8 cores and 16 threads, clocked at 3.3GHz and turbo frequency at 4.6GHz. ROG even designed a 5-phase power supply for it, pre-overclocked at the factory to support ROG performance optimization.
Graphics card with RTX 3070 8GB, 7-phase power supply design, Ampere new architecture with dynamic acceleration 2.0 technology blessing, up to 130W performance release, the frequency can reach 1660MHz in boost mode.
In terms of storage, 32GB DDR4-3200MHz dual-channel memory is standard, which can be expanded to 64GB.

The newly upgraded optical axis mechanical keyboard has a desktop keyboard layout with a standard width of about 168mm, a single-key response time of 0.2ms, a 1.9mm keystroke, a 0.15mm keycap surface, all keys conflict-free, and has passed 100 million key life tests.
