The most important Windows 10 update this year has been confirmed, but there will be no new features, mainly to fix bugs and optimize performance.
Although Microsoft has not shared any details of the Windows 10 21H1 feature update, there is already some evidence in the KB4598291 update released by the company recently.
Microsoft explained: "The activation package is a good choice for feature updates such as Windows 10 20H2 to get extended features. It can update Version 2004 to Version 2009 with one click, reducing update downtime. This allows devices to take advantage of new features now. For Version 2004 devices that receive updates directly from Windows Update, the device is updated to the Windows 10 20H2 version through the installation function, and the activation package is automatically obtained."
I have to say that the Windows 10 21H1 version is still in the development stage, but considering that it is already January, Microsoft should not take too long to be finalized.
If this update uses the same release calendar, Windows 10 version 21H1 is likely to be released to production devices in April or May.
