The DMR 14 nerf in Call of Duty: Warzone was completely useless

For a couple of days now, Call of Duty: Warzone has released a hotfix designed to improve the balance of some weapon models. In particular, battle royale players have been asking for weeks to weaken the DMR 14 rifle, which has become the ultimate weapon with an absurd advantage over the rest.

Judging by the impressions of gamers over these two days, the result of the nerf was, to put it mildly, stupid. Raven Software said it has reduced headshot damage and increased recoil on the DMR 14, as well as lowered the headshot multiplier on the Mac-10.

As the players found out on their virtual skins, the changes were invisible.

Streamer John Speros tweeted a video showing how the weapon worked after the patch. After firing a few shots, he says that there is essentially no recoil from the weapon.

Thus, if you are actively playing Call of Duty: Warzone, it is still recommended to use DMR 14 to win. At medium and long distances, it is still the best weapon. Why a similar situation is developing in Warzone and why the developers are not working on balance is impossible to say.
