Creator of Super Smash Bros. called Cyberpunk 2077 a dream game

Creator of the Super Smash Bros. series Masahiro Sakurai told Famitsu magazine (via Siliconera) about his attitude towards Cyberpunk 2077.  He called the CD Projekt RED title a dream game and noted the developers' desire to return the money to the players.

According to the Japanese developer, he started playing  Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, but later continued on PS4 Pro. On none of the platforms (as of December 20) Sakurai has encountered critical bugs or issues. On the console, the game ran steadily at 30 fps.

The developer noted that he himself was faced with a situation where everything did not go according to plan before the release of the game and therefore was surprised that CDPR was able to release an AAA title of this magnitude on several platforms at the same time.

He was also touched by the developers' policy regarding the return of funds to everyone who was not happy with the game. He has never seen such a sincere desire to satisfy gamers.

I was deeply moved by the way the developers organized the game refund system. I have never seen such sincerity and I fully support this approach and the game itself.

Yesterday the co-founder of CD Projekt Marcin Ivinski in a five-minute video, said that one of the main principles of the studio has always been direct and honest communication with gamers, as well as the creation of the best games in the world.

The developer answered the most important questions and noted that the Cyberpunk 2077 upgrade for the next generation consoles will be released only in the second half of the year.
