Super hit Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G received MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11

In Europe, it is known as Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G and in India as Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G.

Xiaomi has released the first assembly of the MIUI 12.5 branded shell based on the Android 11 operating system for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphones.

MIUI 12.5.5 firmware for Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is currently only available to Chinese users and has closed beta status.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G was unveiled at the end of November 2020 alongside Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 4G. In December, the company boasted that smartphones turned out to be real super hits - 1 million devices were sold in 13 days.

In Europe, the smartphone is known as Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G, and in India, Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G. Unfortunately, it is not worth installing Chinese firmware on international versions, since it is very different from global firmware, for example, the lack of Google services and applications.

However, the Indian version of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G launched as Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G also lacks many features. There are a lot of software lackings which need to be fixed immediately to boost sales. Apart from the software lagging, also some other important features not function as it supposed to be and one most important is the scrolling effect.
