Sub-screen camera, leather body and 12 GB of RAM. ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition go global


The smartphone will cost 449 euros / 419 pounds / 449 dollars in different regions of the world

Last year, the Chinese company announced the ZTE Axon 20, which became the world's first commercial phone with a sub-screen front camera. Last month, the device finally hit global markets. Now, outside of China, the Extreme Edition is being released, which received a case in Sunset Yellow.

On January 7, the Chinese firm will begin collecting pre-orders on its global website. The new version of the smartphone will cost 449 euros / 419 pounds / 449 dollars in different regions of the world.

The Chinese company had previously confirmed how the ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition differs from the standard version of the smartphone. This edition received a leather back panel and an increased amount of RAM, which is now 12 GB instead of 8. Otherwise, the characteristics of smartphones do not differ.


ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, a 6.92-inch Full HD + (2460 x 1080 pixels) OLED screen with an integrated fingerprint reader, a 32MP front camera, and a 64-bit main camera with image sensors, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels.

The battery has a capacity of 4220 mAh and supports 30W fast charging. The smartphone runs MiFlavor 10.5 based on the Android 10 operating system.
