Sony's strongest flagship Xperia Pro is expected to debut this year

Sony Xperia Pro is Sony's flagship product released in February 2020. It was unveiled on the same stage as Sony Xperia 1 Ⅱ, but it has not been on sale so far.

Some reports pointed out that the spread of the global epidemic disrupted Sony’s Xperia Pro’s sales plan, which was originally the flagship that was launched in 2020, but unfortunately Sony did not bring it to the market.

On January 22, according to media reports, the firmware of Sony Xperia Pro (model XQ-AQ62) appeared on Sony servers recently, its version number is 58.0.A.9.116, and the system version is Android 10.

Normally, the appearance of firmware on Sony servers means that new devices are about to debut, which seems to mean that Sony Xperia Pro may be released in the near future.

It is reported that Xperia Pro is aimed at professional image creators. It is developed based on Xperia 1 Ⅱ and supports both Sub-6GHz and mmWave (millimeter wave).

According to the official introduction, Sony has specially developed four-way antenna technology for Xperia Pro. It can provide 360-degree omni-directional communication reception and transmission performance on the 5G millimeter wave band with higher communication stability requirements. It is equipped with exclusive heat dissipation technology to provide accurate Long-term high-quality image transmission.
