Samsung's first Exynos PC SoC with AMD GPU to compete with Apple's M1

The new SoC is expected to be based on Samsung's latest mobile platform, the Exynos 2100

According to Wccftech, Samsung is expected to release its Exynos family of SoCs for PCs in the fourth quarter of this year.

The new SoC is expected to be based on Samsung's latest mobile platform, the Exynos 2100, which is manufactured in a 5nm process. In addition, this mobile platform is expected to use an AMD GPU and significantly outperform the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 in terms of performance.

Inyup Kang, director of Samsung System LSI Business, announced last week that the company is preparing a new flagship SoC with a next-generation GPU that is being jointly created by Samsung and AMD.

Last year, Apple released the first laptops based on Apple's proprietary M1 SoC, which have garnered more attention for their superior performance and outstanding power efficiency.
