It looks like Nintendo can be congratulated on another successful year. According to Games Industry Editor-in-Chief Christopher Dring, cumulative sales of PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X in the UK have not surpassed Switch sales in that country.

Users in the comments to the tweet note that this does not mean something bad. Switch is primarily an add-on console or just a gadget for kids that parents buy. Nonetheless, this is an impressive result for Nintendo.
PS5 and Xbox Series X sales are also breaking records. NPD's Matt Piscatella noted that the PS5 set a record for unit sales for its launch month in the US.
