More than 16 thousand people suffered from hacker attack on Capcom

In November last year, Capcom was the victim of a hacker attack, as a result of which a lot of information was leaked onto the network, including release dates for several games, personal information of some employees, and more.

Then it was about only nine victims, but it turned out that this number is 16.5 thousand people.

Hackers leaked names, addresses, contacts, and other personal information online, but the credit card information was protected. It is known that more than nine thousand victims are former Capcom employees, more than three thousand are business partners, and the rest are current employees of the company.

It also turned out that the potential number of victims of hacking has grown to almost 400 thousand, although in November it was said about 350 thousand. It will not be surprising if, after some time, these values increase by several thousand more, and new details of future releases of the Japanese publisher get on the network.
