"Morbius" premiere postponed until October

Sony Pictures has again postponed the release of "Morbius" starring Jared Leto. Now the film has been moved from March 19 to October 8. The reason once again was the difficult situation of the industry in the context of a pandemic.

This is the second date shift - the premiere was originally expected in July last year.

Morbius appeared in comics in October 1971. Dr. Michael Morbius suffered from a rare fatal blood disorder, and in an attempt to heal himself, he used an experimental method of treatment using bats. The experiment failed, and the man turned into a vampire.

In addition to Leto, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Charlie Shotwell, Ria Fend and others also played in the tape.
