Microsoft is reshaping Windows 10: intentionally canceling the control panel

According to the latest news, Microsoft is re-adjusting Windows 10, according to their plan, intentionally canceling the control panel.

Since Windows 1.0, the Control Panel has been a part of Windows. Starting from the Windows 10 October 2020 Update in October 2020, Microsoft has been working hard to promote more control panel users to use the settings application. Up the company is advancing its modern methods.

As you can see in the latest preview version, Microsoft is now introducing more pages into the modern settings application, which are reported to have previously appeared in the control panel.

In the latest preview version released in January 2021, users can find Storage Spaces in the settings. Storage space is a function that allows users to connect multiple storage devices to a computer and treat them as a single storage device called a "storage pool."

It should be noted that Microsoft has not abandoned the control panel, but for Microsoft, this is a good opportunity to "unify" the entire operating system settings experience.

When this happens, certain pages of the control panel will redirect the user to the Windows 10 settings app. Microsoft will also disable third-party applications that may be used as a solution to access hidden control panel pages.

These changes currently only exist in the preview version, but they should not stay in the testing phase for too long, which means that the improved settings application can be made available to the public later this year.
