The adaptation of Super Mario Bros. 1993, in which Mario and Luigi live in a city of a bleak future, turns out to be a perfect match for the recently released RPG shooter Cyberpunk 2077. To show it off, a Twitter user combined film footage with music and voiceover from the game's trailer that aired at E3 2018.
Marketing specialist videogame Vincent Coates (Vincent Coates) wrote on Twitter: «I was inspired after watching the movie" Superbratya Mario "on the creation of a new trailer, using an old trailer Cyberpunk 2077. If you want to watch a movie, I have nothing to do with it".

The film adaptation of Super Mario Bros has a bad reputation as it is an extremely bizarre interpretation of the events of a video game. The film is set in a dystopian future, somewhat similar to cyberpunk. And the people living in it are dressed in very fancy clothes. Basically, all that really connects the movie to the game is the characters. The picture certainly has something in common with Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 itself was released on December 10 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, GeForce Now and Google Stadia.
