Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skin for AK-47 sold out for $ 150,000

Selling cosmetics for popular games can sometimes turn into a very lucrative business. Another example is the recent sale of a skin for a weapon in the competitive shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for a mind-boggling amount of $ 150,000 for such a product (about 11 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

This deal was announced on Twitter by a well-known trader under the pseudonym ROFL - we are talking about Case Hardened for AK-47 with four stickers of the French esports team Titan Esports. The latter was disbanded in 2016. The name of the lucky buyer of rare cosmetics has not been disclosed. Whether the new owner is going to resell the look for an even more impressive amount is also not specified.

This is by far the largest known skin deal for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to date. However, it is quite possible that the record will not last too long, because the previous sensational incident occurred not so long ago - in July 2020.

Then, we will remind, a resident of China acquired the look for a weapon for about $ 100,000, to later resell. It was an upgraded version of the StatTrak M4A4 Howl skin. The price of the regular version is about $ 5 thousand, and the one in question was distinguished by four iBUYPOWER Katowice 2014 stickers.
