"Awesome Job": Minecraft Players Create Liberty City Metropolis from GTA for Over a Year

Minecraft, with its almost unlimited construction concept, attracts many talented people. The game regularly creates impressive structures such as locations inspired by Cyberpunk 2077 and the detailed city of Greenfield. And now a user of the Reddit forum under the pseudonym sebstarc has shared his creation. He and a friend create his own version of Liberty City from GTA in Minecraft.

The enthusiast showed the map from a height so that the incredible scale of the metropolis could be clearly seen. It includes hundreds of different buildings, including more than ten skyscrapers. Particularly impressive is the island on the right side, where many dissimilar structures coexist. There are already more repeating houses on the left side of Liberty City, but this does not diminish the merits of the authors in the least. They have been working on this map for over a year and have put a lot of effort into it.

Separately, it should be noted that the enthusiasts did not set themselves the goal of extremely accurately recreate the metropolis. As they worked, they looked back at the versions of Liberty City from Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Reddit users appreciated the work of sebstarc and his friend. The publication showing the map received more than 13,000 positive ratings and many complimentary comments. One of them reads: "Holy saints, you guys have done an amazing job."
