An improved version of System Shock 2 will receive VR capabilities

Nightdive Studios tweeted a small teaser hinting at a VR version of the improved System Shock 2. The game was announced in August 2019.

The developers of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition will improve the visuals and fix problems with the co-op, making it available in an improved version. It will become easier to launch online. In addition, support for all existing modifications is declared.

The release date for System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition has yet to be announced. Also in development is System Shock 3, for which OtherSide Entertainment is responsible. Gameplay was introduced in 2019.
