Vivo unveils flagship camera phones X60 and X60 Pro with 120Hz screen and Exynos 1080 chip


The Chinese company Vivo announced today the performance smartphones X60 and X60 Pro, which are equipped with a multi-module camera with high-quality Zeiss optics. Acceptance of pre-orders for new items has already begun, and actual sales start on January 8th.


The devices are equipped with a Samsung Exynos 1080 processor. It contains ARM Cortex-A78 and ARM Cortex-A55 cores, a Mali-G78 MP10 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem with a data transfer rate of up to 5.1 Gbps. The volume of LPDDR5 RAM is 8 or 12 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 or 256 GB.

Smartphones have a 6.56-inch Full HD + display (2376 × 1080 pixels) with HDR10 + support. The refresh rate of this panel is 120 Hz, and the polling rate of the sensor layer is 240 Hz. A 32MP selfie camera is housed in a small hole in the center at the top of the screen.


The Vivo X60 model received a triple main camera: a 48-megapixel unit with a Sony IMX598 sensor (f / 1.48) and optical image stabilization, a 13-megapixel module with wide-angle optics (120 degrees) and a 13-megapixel portrait lens with a maximum aperture f / 2.46. The Vivo X60 Pro modification is equipped with a quadruple camera with an additional 8-megapixel periscope module with 5x optical zoom.


The new items are equipped with a screen fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters, a USB Type-C port, and two slots for SIM cards. Responsible for power is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh in the younger version and 4200 mAh in the older one. Fast 33-watt charging has been implemented.

The operating system OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 is applied. Prices start at 535 and 690 US dollars, respectively.
