Tesla update allows electric car to be used as a boombox



Tesla has begun distributing yet another software update for its electric cars. The holiday update brought some interesting features to car owners.

A "boombox" mode has been added, which allows you to play music through external speakers when the car is stationary. Owners of any Tesla electric cars manufactured after September 1, 2019 can use these modes.

In addition, it became possible to change the horn signal, several options are available to choose from, but you can load your own audio circuits via USB. For example, you can honk with applause or a barking dog.

The changes affected the visualization options, you can also change the sounds generated by the car while driving. Now pedestrians will hear an approaching car.

In the future, Tesla plans to open the possibility of broadcasting images from cameras of electric vehicles.
